Hanging Pitcher Plants Nepenthes Species These Hanging Pitcher plants come in a backet and grow best inside in bright indirect light. The Pitchers or cups form from modified leaves and slowly fill with liquid. A lid forms above the cup and most species of nepenthes use this to actively attract insects, as the lid produces sugars or lets out a scent. Insects that are attracted then fall into the cup, providing this plant with the nutrients it needs. Comes in a 150ml hanging pot

Position

Warm position in medium to high light, out of direct sunlight.

Planting

Using spaghnam moss and peat, replant into a pot twice as large, with drainage holes. Water so soil is moist.

Care

Keep sphagnum moss wet by letting the pot sit in an inch of water at all times.. Do not Feed. Repot in Spring
