Care

As temperatures rise, your plants will be thirstier than usual. Keep an eye on moisture levels in the soil, making sure your plants are kept evenly moist. Familiarise yourself with the specific watering needs of your plant before setting your summer watering schedule.

For example, we love the delicate fronds of a maidenhair fern paired with the large, glossy leaves of a rubber plant. The contrast is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it also showcases the unique nature of each plant.

Vertical Interest

With their cascading vines and lush foliage, trailing plants bring an elegant vibe to your styling. They are perfect for small spaces, adding vertical interest without taking up precious floor space. Hanging from decorative planters or high shelves, trailing plants like pothos or string of pearls will give a carefully curated feel to your home.

Grouping plants is a design technique that elevates your indoor space to a new level of style and cohesion. These little clay balls can absorb and slowly release water, and can be used in the place of houseplant mix. Plus, they're fantastic for preventing root rot and keeping those pesky pests at bay.
